Corrosion-X is the "Must-Have" item for model boaters!
Don't go to the pond without it!
Corrosion X forms a protective coating on metal parts to help
prevent corrosion and oxidation. Spray it on electronic components
to seal-out moisture. Corrosion-X is exceptional in it's ability to
prevent electrolysis between dis-similar metals.
Here are some applications we consider "Critical".
Preventative Maintenance - At least twice a year, the "Inside"
of every electronic component in our boats, including Receivers,
Servos, Switches and electrical connections are disassembled and
sprayed with Corrosion-X to prevent short-circuits caused by moisture.
Just shake out the excess and let them dry some before re-assembly.
Ever had a wet receiver take control of your expensive boat?
Cleanup at the end of the day - Corrosion-X is an Excellent
"After-Run Oil". Spray it through the carburetor while spinning the
motor to lubricate the insides, remove Nitro-Residue and Moisture.
Spray Corrosion-X liberally through the water-jacket to prevent oxidation
build up inside which can restrict the water-flow. This is especially critical
in motors where the shanks of the head-bolts are exposed to water and
contaminates inside of the water-jacket.
