The Sullivan Hi-Torque Starter is the choice for most of the Nitro boat racers.
This starter is so popular because you can use it with either 12-volts or 24-volts.
The Torque and speed of this starter in the 24-volt configuration is more than enough
to start even the big .90 nitro's or gas boats with ease.

Most of the racers wire two 12-volt batteries in series to create 24-volts for
the additional torque and RPM we need to start our boats quickly when the heat begins.
